Project Details
The project's scope of work consists of a visitor center located in muharraq, Bahrain. The project as part of the Muharraq Pearling Heritage Conservation and Urban Economic Revival project includes a concrete 9 meters high canopy covering around 6500 square meters (sqm) with a 400 sqm enclosed 3-floor space including a small auditorium, cafeteria and exhibition spaces. The canopy is supported by a series of columns and wind towers on a micro-piling foundation system. finishes are mostly fair-faced concrete. The side also includes a ruin coral stone structure which requires consolidation and restoration for some parts.
